This is an English translation of the new Statutes of the European Economic Association. Since the Association is governed by Belgian law, its official and legally binding statutes are in French. These have been published in the "Moniteur Belge" as of October 29, 2008.  The new Statutes were approved unanimously by the members present at the General Members meeting held at the EEA annual Congress, Milan, on August 30 2008.
